Summer in Vienna
Discover green treasures and sunny places on foot
A walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral
Walk down Josefstädter Straße towards the city centre. To the left you will see Vienna's town hall, to the right the Austrian parliament. Straight ahead you enter the Volksgarten, famous for its incomparable splendour of roses in summer.
From Heldenplatz walk through the gate of the Hofburg. The Imperial Treasury (Kaiserliche Schatzkammer), the Spanish Riding School and the Café Demel are right on your way.
Via Kohlmarkt and the luxury boulevard "Am Graben" you reach Stephansplatz with its world-famous cathedral. From its two towers you have a great view over the (inner) city.
Art and living space Museumsquartier
The MQ, which emerged from the former imperial stables, is now one of the largest art and cultural sites in the world. The young museum complex impresses with its diversity:
Fine and performing arts, architecture, music, fashion, theatre, dance, literature, design and photography form a comprehensive range of artistic activities, which in the warmer months of the year also take place in the spacious inner courtyard.
In addition to numerous cafés and restaurants, the famous "Enzis" invite you to relax. A popular meeting place for Viennese and Vienna lovers, especially on warm summer evenings.

You just have to see the Naschmarkt. The over 500 m long food and speciality market is only 10 minutes away from our hotel. Typical Austrian delicacies and exotic rarities await you here. The great variety of offers, the different scents and smells - a stroll through the Naschmarkt is an experience for all senses. On Saturdays there is also a flea market.
On the "Third Man"-tour - based on the famous movie shot in Vienna - you can follow in the footsteps of Harry Lime. It takes you to Vienna's "Underworld" to discover its post-war history and the fascination of its sewage system.
The other side of Schönbrunn
It is considered one of the most beautiful castles in Austria. For this reason, a guided tour of the castle is a must. But Schönbrunn has much more to offer. Take a stroll in the extensive palace park, discover a maze and a giant kaleidoscope or solve a mathematics puzzle of various difficulty levels.
Not to forget, of course, the famous Tiergarten. The oldest existing zoo in the world was commissioned by Emperor Franz I. in 1752 and today offers young and old the opportunity to watch animals of all kinds in an imperial ambience.
