Our Top 3 Christmas Market recommendations

Wiener Christkindlmarkt at Rathausplatz: A five minutes walk from our hotel, in the splendid scenery between the Vienna City Hall and the Burgtheater, one of the most popular Christmas markets opens its gates every year. Here you will find a great variety of mulled wine, hot punch and culinary delights, as well as typical Viennese souvenirs.

Christmas market on Spittelberg: Experience Vienna's historical ambiance in the narrow streets of the Spittelberg, surrounded by well-preserved, beautifully renovated Biedermeier houses. Accordingly, you will find here numerous stalls and small shops that offer typical handicrafts from jewelry to knitwear and home decor.

Winter at MuseumsQuartier: Located between the temples of (modern) art in Vienna's museums district, this Christmas market also creates an artful Christmas atmosphere. Designed with modern architectural elements and light installations, it especially attracts a young and urban audience with its international design market, concerts and unusual gift ideas.
